The Global Spiral offers space for paid advertisers on our web site. The site received 1,280,974 visits in 2006.

Format & Submission

The space we provide advertisements is 130 pixels wide x 130 pixels high. The ad should be in either "jpeg" or "gif" format and be exactly this size. We accept animated “gif” files, and may consider flash animations on a case by case basis. You may email the ad to editor@metanexus.net.

Ad Rotation

Ads will appear on the right-side ad panel of each page of the web site. They will appear in random rotation, five ads per page. Each page load and reload will display an additional five ads. When one of your ads does appear on a specific page, it will continue to appear on that page as long as the page is not "refreshed" or "reloaded."

Pricing

The Metanexus ad pricing schema works as follows:

• On a month by month basis, the charge of ads is $400.00 per month.
• On a multiple month basis, ads are $400.00 for the first month, $300.00 for the following month, and $200.00 for each additional month thereafter. So, for example, a yearly ad contract with Metanexus will cost $2700.00 ($400 $300 10 x $200).
• Multiple month pricing begins with a multiple month payment. For example, an advertiser may pay $1500.00 for six months of advertising space ($400 $300 4 x $200). If, however, an advertiser pays $400.00 for one month of space, the following month’s cost will also be $400.00.
• 20% Discount to all Science and Religion organizations, where these organizations are defined as nonprofits that specialize in the constructive engagement of religion and science.
