Intelligent Design and Its Critics
Metanexus Institute has hosted extensive discussions pro and con on Intelligent Design. Our approach has always been to object to the polarization, the obfuscation, and mutual demonization that has characterized much of the debate about Intelligent Design. Metanexus affirms that a long and evolving Earth and Cosmic history is a well-established fact of science, but that the interpretation of this natural history, how it happens and what it means, is open to diverse points of views. Read discussion on either side of our view here. more

Indic Religions in an Age of Science
This series was written by Dr. Varadaraja V. Raman in 2004-2005 as part of the Metanexus Senior Fellow lectures in Philadelphia. Perhaps no other contemporary scholar has such a grasp of the subject matter, science and Hinduism, and exhibits such humanity and equanimity in constructing the dialogue. This introduction to Indic Religions in an Age of Science is a must read for any student of Indian civilization.  more
