Daniel Button is a senior lecturer at Uganda Christian University (7,200 students) in Mukono, Uganda.ﾠ He heads the Department of Foundation Studies and teaches several theological subjects in the School of Divinity and Theology.ﾠ He is an ordained Anglican minister in the Church of Uganda and has served as a missionary / lecturer for over 12 years in Zimbabwe, England, and Uganda.ﾠ Originally from Minnesota, USA, he has a science background with degrees in engineering and architecture.ﾠ Rev. Button is married with two children, and is presently a PhD candidate of St. Johnﾒs College, Nottingham University, UK.ﾠ He has a long-term interest in eschatology, the topic of his dissertation research, and a corresponding interest in the intersections of faith and science.ﾠ He currently serves as chairman of the ﾓAfrican Areopagus Societyﾔ (organized under the Metanexus Local Societies Initiative), promoting dialogue between faith and science in Uganda.
