Kathryn A. Johnson, M.A., received both her B.A. in psychology and her M.A. in Religious Studies from Arizona State University. She is a Ph.D. student in Social Psychology at ASU, where her primary research interest is the socio-cognitive processes underlying various world views, particularly the psychology of anthropomorphism and the construction of personhood across both religious and ethnic cultures.ï¾  She applies this research by helping students with divergent worldviews develop meta-cognitive strategies to improve academic achievement in a predominately white, Western, secular university environment.
