The separation of philosophy and science has sunk philosophy into self-created oblivion.

Thomas G.M. Möllenbeck has been an assistant at the Theological Faculty of Paderborn working with Prof. Dr. Dr. D. Hattrup in dogmatics and history of dogmatics. Since 2004 he has been preparing a post-doctorate study on J.H. Newman and Augustine. He earned his B.A. in philosophy (Munich, 1989), a Diploma in Theology (Muenster, 1991), and a Doctorate in Theology (Paderborn, 2004) with a dissertation on the relationship of philosophy and theology in the work of Karl Rahner, Hans Urs von Balthasar, and John Duns Scotus. He has also worked as a priest in the diocese of Muenster since 1993, as a vicar in parishes and as the regional-vicar of the Niederrhein.
