Walter Ratjen

Walter Ratjen, Dipl.-Psych., founder and head of the Center for Artificial Human Intelligence (C.A.H.I.) at Tubingen, Germany, studied economics, psychology, history, and philosophy at the universities of Gottingen, Frankfurt, Tubingen, Constance, Freiburg (all in Germany) and Amherst, MA. His research focuses on the prerequisites for transferring consciousness from man to non-human substrates. He seeks to establish a combination of a framework of that knowledge about the mind that has proven viable throughout history with a systematic view of cross-cultural variations of consciousness. This set of variables and constants of human consciousness should be emulatable on an artificial substrate.
