Charlene P. E. Burns is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is director of the Chippewa Valley Dialogue on Science and Religion, begun with a Local Societies Initiative grant from Metanexus in 2006. Her publications include three books and numerous articles, including works on issues in religion and science published in Zygon Journal of Religion and Science, Theology and Science, and Crosscurrents, as well as forthcoming work for the Routledge Companion to Religion and Science and invited participation in a project and publication on moral exemplars funded by the Science and Transcendence Advanced Research SeriesHer current research focus is on cognitive science and Christian theology.
