Daniel Button
Bio
Daniel Button is a senior lecturer at Uganda Christian University (7,200 students) in Mukono, Uganda.ï¾ He heads the Department of Foundation Studies and teaches several theological subjects in the School of Divinity and Theology.ï¾ He is an ordained Anglican minister in the Church of Uganda and has served as a missionary / lecturer for over 12 years in Zimbabwe, England, and Uganda.ï¾ Originally from Minnesota, USA, he has a science background with degrees in engineering and architecture.ï¾ Rev. Button is married with two children, and is presently a PhD candidate of St. Johnï¾’s College, Nottingham University, UK.ï¾ He has a long-term interest in eschatology, the topic of his dissertation research, and a corresponding interest in the intersections of faith and science.ï¾ He currently serves as chairman of the モAfrican Areopagus Societyï¾” (organized under the Metanexus Local Societies Initiative), promoting dialogue between faith and science in Uganda.
