James Hurtak

Bio

James J. Hurtak, Ph.D., Ph.D., M.Th. ï¾ author, social scientist and futurist is the President of The Academy For Future Science, an international organization that works to bring cooperation between science and religion through positive dialogue involving social projects and environmental sustainability. The Academy is a recognized NGO with the United Nations through ECOSOC (the Economic and Social Council) and with DPI.ï¾  Dr. Hurtak presented at the UN-DPI Conference on Climate Change (New York, 2007) and the UN World Summit for Sustainable Development (Johannesburg, 2002). He received his Ph.D. from the University of California and a second Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. His latest book, End of Suffering,, was co-authored with physicist Russell Targ, the father of remote viewing science at Stanford Research Institute. Dr. Hurtak is a pioneer in the area of space law, having published papers with the American Astronautical Society and the Mars Society.ï¾  He has also been a presenter at the Parliament of the Worldï¾’s Religions in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1999, and in Barcelona, Spain, in 2004.ï¾  Dr. Hurtak is interested in the cooperation between technology and religion and has used remote sensing technology to locate ancient Egyptian artifacts in Egypt.
