Russell Blackford is a writer, philosopher, lawyer, and literary critic based in Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches part-time in the School of Philosophy and Bioethics at Monash University. He is the editor-in-chief of The Journal of Evolution and Technology and a fellow of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies. His academic specializations include philosophical bioethics and legal/political philosophy.
