The Creators page is a living record of people shaping new ways of thinking, making, and being human. Today, Metanexus understands creators broadly: writers, thinkers, artists, researchers, technologists, and cultural experimenters whose work moves across disciplines and forms. What unites them is not a shared doctrine, but a shared commitment to integration, imagination, and meaningful participation in a changing world.
This community reaches back to Metanexus’s earliest days. Since 1997, contributors have included participants in the original Meta-List; authors published through Metanexus Online and The Global Spiral; speakers and attendees at Metanexus conferences; members of the Local Societies Initiative and the Metanexus Global Network Initiative; artists featured in Visual Explorations; video creators, interviewees, and lecturers; and many others whose work became part of the Metanexus ecosystem.
Looking back, it is clear that many of these contributors were already doing — often without naming it — the work Metanexus is now making explicit. They were experimenting with hybrid forms of knowledge, new modes of expression, and integrative ways of engaging science, culture, meaning, and lived experience.
The Creators page honors that lineage while opening space for what comes next: an evolving community of people exploring what it means to be human, together.
